Character name/race/class
Palisar/Human/Warlock

Talent build, 30/0/31

Please explain why you have chosen your talent build and what you consider to be it's strengths and weaknesses.

The strengths of the SM-Ruin Hybrid Build is it high DPS output especially with Crits (Ruin: All destruction spell crits increase damage by 100%)
The weaknesses it carries are only that the crit chance of spells is lower than what it would be if it were another Spec
And also not being able to reach 40 points (AKA new spell) in the respective Track of the Talent tree

Would you be willing to respec for the good of the guild and discuss your build with officers who have the proper knowledge?
Yes

Comments regarding your gear setup, is there a plan behind it, i.e. more emphasis on AP than hit or is it randomly put together because it was the best you could find?
At the moment Im trying to focus on DPS output so most of my enchants and gems would be DPS inclined

If your standard gear do not give you a raid buffed hp of 10k (no Blood Pact) or more, do you have raid quality gear to swap in to bring it to this amount of above?
Yes

What resistance gear sets do you have? None

Do you have your lvl 70 Medallion of the Alliance?
No

How many nights per week can you attend raids? (Current 25-man raid days are tuesday, wednesday, thursday, sunday)
On those days All

Prior raid experience and raid guild / raid community.
Gruul, Kara, Maggy (Complete) ZA, SSC (Unfinished)

Reason for leaving your prior raid guild / raid community.
Moving far too slow Only raiding kara (I'm mostly joining PuG groups)

How important is loot to you? And why?
Gear is V important to me if i require it to enhance my character but normal loot im not too pushed about

Do you agree with our policies? And our expectations of being prepared for every raid?
Yes

Tell us the basic facts about yourself in real life (age, nationality, hobbies etc).
Im 20 Irish and I enjoy music, gaming, and hanging out with friends

How did you hear about BotE and what are you expectations of the guild?
I heard of them from a friend well a member of BotE who i know is a Good player
and my expectations are quite High for the Guild

Do you know anyone inside BotE who can vouch for you?
Rothinn tho i doubt he will

Do you feel we've missed something you want to add?
Nope

Thank you for applying to Blood of the Elders!

Anyhow, the old SM/ruin build is godly pre TBC but not anymore, with your current gear, you're better off with affliction. Your spell damage is kinda low and the gems iare kinda No . Spell hit is kinda no offence, pathetic hehe.

I'm not being an ass, just stating the facts ^_^. I know its hard to get the right gear, but you'll get them eventually if you work hard for em. ^_^

I first met this old hag of a crossdressing warlock back in the old days, when he joined White Rabbits - the very first guild I joined back in Jan 2006. I left due to some disagreement with Sneaky (<3), and Palisar left sometime later. If my memory is correct, he started the guild The Fallen Angels, where I joined for weeks, before going hardcore with the imba guild Steamrollers.

Sadly, I don't know much about his DPS skills. I think I remember a run in Uldaman, where we dicked around for a while, but I can't say much about it, sadly. But what I can say, is that he seems like a jolly Irish guy, who has been stuck on Argent Dawn for quite some time. We have had many awesome hours at Goldshire together, dancing and drinking (no, we didn't engage in cybor), and he also worked on a machinema of us dancing there (where is that video?).

If he can pull his fingers out of his ass, and gear up a bit quick, it would maybe be cool to let him show his skills in combat. But whatever happens, don't mention the word 'dildo'. Wink
